the cure is obviously money. more money needs to be poured into research. who would you ask for that money? the big tabacco companies. why? because the whole cancer issue is really starting to cut into their profits. if i had the cash flow they do, i would divert the majority into research and find the cure (offered exclusively in cigarettes and ingested by smoking). then they could keep making their current flawed product, but generate new brand loyalty by making exclusive offers like: 'smoke with us for 20 years and we'll give you a FREE pack of cancer-curing cigs!"
just saying, it makes sense to me.
